Winter is upon us and that’s the theme for our next meeting. Brrr.
Geoffrey Wall will present “I saved the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electricity Scheme“.
Geoffrey spent six months in a small hut at Blue Lake on the Snowy Mountains Main Range planting his seeds….. for soil conservation that is!!

Andrew Horsley (famed Jack Cox winner and Australian Cross Country Ski representative) will then present “An evening of Australian Alpine History”.

Andrew Horsley competed for Australia with distinction at the Andrew Horsley competing at the World Cross Country Championships in Lahti, Finland, in 1978.

Andrew will provide an insight to the Cross Country discipline – its growth, sophistication & characters, as observed over his long involvement as a racer, coach and administrator.

The meeting will commence at 7:30pm following a BYO BBQ for those interested. Friends are welcome.
